This book is so sweet! Jamie and Maximum are adorable, and they are so sweet and cheesy together, but in the best possible way, like kinda funny and adorable. Jamie has trauma and trust issues, and one of my fav parts of this is how Maximum was always there and understanding, and gave him the time he needed to trust and learn how to love again. I also love the character development. Jamie is a shy boy with a traumatic past, and he learns how to love again, and push away fears and self negativity, to do the things he wants (Spoiler: he tops!)
