I don’t recommend this book unless you just want to be a submissive door mat. Basically it says anything that happens to you is God’s will and you should just accept it. The explanations of evil are very weak in my view, and agree with one of the other negative reviewer on this point. Working to understand God’s will is fine, but that must also be an active process and not just passive submissiveness. Seems to be based on 17th logic of everything being fixed and pre-ordained, on pre-set determined paths bit like Newtonian mechanics. Mark Thibodaux’s contemporary takes on St Ignatuis are much more inspiring.
