Early books are a bit cringey with the age difference with the protagonist. disappointing ending with Nikki and Peter still separate. such amazing potential and good character development, I will definitely look for other works by this author, and maybe I’m being too picky, but it just wasn’t for me. that said, give it a shot if this is a genre you enjoy. you might really like it
