I was not sure of the story itself to begin with, being a hellraiser story not written by clive barker, and with it costing as much as it did and being less than 2 hours in length, I had suspicions about its quality.
it does not follow the original novel at, it follows the movie and its established lore (going as far as using the movies names for characters), and the story felt very dull, almost like it was a fanfic work.
the narration is horrendous and sounds like most of it was recorded over the phone.
