Ok story made better by Sarah Puckett

I can never get enough of listening to Sarah Puckett. She is great and nice to listen to. She makes the reading experience that much better and Kindred is no exception.

I am a huge fan of Erica Steven’s, but I just did not love this book. Since it is the first book in a series I am more than willing to give the second book a try. I just felt nothing for any of the characters and the romance was very instalovey. I will say I’m interesting to see what happens with Devon and Cassie’s relationship after that very entertaining ending.

Even though I didn’t love the story and I would have liked a bit more information, especially about Devon’s past, but Sarah Puckett helps make this book interesting with her awesome narrating skills. She was great as Cassie.
