This is more of the same, but I feel like it’s drifting toward more and more villain and ancillary character POV’s. It seemed like less than half the time was actually about Silence. Since the others are either bad guys or morons, it makes me lose interest. It took me a really long time to get through this one bc I kept getting so bored and distracted bc I didn’t care about the lamenting and whining by the other characters. It’s getting predictable – not just in terms of what happens with the plot, but also what stupid thing the character will do next, what they will whine about next.
I normally like this narrator but his breathless drama compounds the other issues.
Too many eye rolls and I need a break.
