It was my second Bentley Little book and the verdict is still out on if I like his work or not. It’s definitely not as gory as others have reviewed it, but has its parts ( incest) which are bad. It’s not spooky enough for my liking (true Stephen King, Dean Koontz, and Joe Hill fan) but I’ll keep trying. I just enough avoid book with a purpose and this was all out weird… Kinda of what if Sam Walton was a vampire psycho and tried to take over the world through Walmart. I kept asking myself, why the hell are they just putting up with that and not leaving.
