OK, I did not expect to LOVE THIS SERIES

Oh, my goodness. I am always looking for a series where the primary characters act with honor, friendship, integrity. and are funny, sweet and loving.

BUT the story still works and this is a series I have started recommending to my SERIOUS fantasy readers (Sanderson, I am looking at you). It is much more lighthearted but such a refreshing change from grim-dark.

WARNING: First book is definitely world building….but hang in there until you meet Eithan…and Orthos. Wonderful and am on my third listen of the entire series.
