I had high hopes. I have enjoyed his other work, and the fact that Kevin Pierce was involved excited me. Unfortunately, the wheels came off the bus pretty quickly. The characters’ decisions made absolutely no sense. I don’t want to give any spoilers to the actual miss-steps because some people might enjoy this. I would have hoped the editor would’ve caught these problems and perhaps guided the story into something believable.
