Read the rest of the reviews for trigger warnings and spoilers, but all I’ll say is this a very controversial book/topic. If it was an opera everyone would dead at the end. Well written but the end was so unrealistic i actually laughed in between feeling gross and sad. I didn’t stop to read the reviews so I thought this would be like an episode of Breaking Bad- it ISN’T. This is a tragic telling of the life of a developmentally stunted and emotionally neglected girl. Those thinking this is a romance need hugs and lots of therapy. It was amazingly acted (I can’t imagine the headspace the voice actor had to go to), and the last trying I’ll say is if you’re easily triggered, spare yourself.
