The mechanics were solid but the action was really lacking and the interactions with the main character were frustrating at times. Compared to some litrpg the main character started with a ton of cool gear but it seemed like he never really used it. For the main character to boast about being smart and not knowing anything of any class beyond mage when he wasn’t even a mage was silly especially because of what happened to him right away. With the character to be such a low level and to instantly be recognized like he was and the way he was attacked, was also silly. The next couple of hours felt like an info dump with the character complaining a lot and small yet unbelievable encounters ensued. Ultimately I was about 3 hours until the end and couldn’t finish it. I hope to return here and leave a better review but for now I am leaving this series behind. I think the book version may be much better.
