I’m truly spellbound by this book. First, yes, it is longer than your typical audiobook, but don’t be swayed. You do not feel length, and I am difficult to keep interested (millennial here). The narration was great for the female part but this is the type of story that requires a male narrator who can pull off a sultry, commanding Russian accent. You get used to the female narration, but it certainly would have taken it over the top. Yes, the story is taboo due to the 15 year age gap but I have no qualms with it. My hubby is 10 yrs older than I am so I love the age gap troupe. In any event, keep in mind this is contemporary, new adult, erotic, realism-esque fiction. However, the story is told in such a way that the age gap plays second fiddle in many respects to the romance itself – which you would expect. I went directly to the subsequent books if that tells you anything.
