Certainly NOT SAFE FOR WORK as I quickly learned. A hilarious self-deprecating book about how the US military really feels about the creation of a “Space Force” inter-weaved with the author’s jabs at his own writing style and previous books. Only a true Jeremy Robinson fan would really appreciate the humor that at times sounds like it was written by a group of lower-enlisted soldiers stranded on a remote combat outpost in Afghanistan (only veterans would understand this). This isn’t a rehash of previous books but the characters in the book enjoy taking out their frustrations on the author in the most unusual way. The aliens are truly “unique” (infatuated with gamer culture) and remember – “don’t google that”. The epilogue is – really strange – and maybe opens up the possibility of a sequel??? Neil deGrasse Tyson is a lucky man…
