Nothing new, but an entertaining story.

There wasn’t anything really ‘new’ or surprising about this book. It’s a decent story of what might happen (for a small group of people) in a post-apocalyptic world. If you’ve read/listened to any of Jack Hunt’s similar titles then you know what you can expect: a short tale of a small group of people, brought together by circumstances, trying to make it to some destination while overcoming some difficulties (other people and environments) along the way. There characters were interesting and the journey had it’s ups and downs. I definitely found it entertaining for what it is and I did enjoy the listen.

Narration by Kevin Pierce was great and maintained the same quality of voicing and pacing as in his other works.

Overall, if you’re looking for a light post-apocalyptic survival story, you should definitely pick up this book.
