Would you consider the audio edition of Lord Mouse to be better than the print version?
I am guessing this book would be just as great to read as it was listening to it. The characters were very well done and the dialogue gave them a kind of depth that works great in any case!
Who was your favorite character and why?
It’s fair to say…I wanted to hear back stories about every potential protagonist I encountered. From the young noble to the closeted guard captain who lost his job. If I have to pick one, Lord Mouse is very worthy of all the attention he gets. He’s the lead for a reason and though it was hard to warm up to him, I was definitely on his side and cheering for him to find a little peace and happiness.
Which scene was your favorite?
The scene where Garran and Mouse seem like they might get caught and the situation turned out to be far different than I would have guessed. That scene also circled back around nicely to a storyline for another character that I was very interested in.
Who was the most memorable character of Lord Mouse and why?
I like the guard Captain (Hawkin?) He needs his own book. He had exceptional character growth in very little “screen time” and I’d like to see how he fares as an adventurer!
Any additional comments?
I love this book and I’d like to read ten more of them. Please tell the author, they aren’t going to write themselves. Thanks for a great listen!
