There are so many loose ends and plot points that don’t make sense. I wanted to like these books,. I like sci-fi and fantasy. I listened to the first three books, the story is interesting enough, but the execution is not good. The main character is supposed to be intelligent, but constantly drives the plot forward by missing simple things, the plot twists are east to guess. The world building is weak, the characters don’t change enough, and the same jokes are made over and over and over. The narrator can barely make the characters sound different.
