I got this book because it was cheap and I saw Kevin Peirce was the narrator. I know not all shtf books are going to be about people who know everything and have tons put back, but this book is just not enjoyable or captivating. the main characters bounce between so much indecision on so many things that should be clear, there’s a scene where the author made an attempt at talking guns when a character strips one to clean it… he should have just stopped there rather than googling words to try and describe parts of a firearm. it’s just not a good book and really lacks substance. go listen to the borrowed world, one second after, or the going home series if you’re looking for a good listen because this just isn’t it.
