- What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
- The writing is passable but the narrator is truly horrible. I like English stories and narrators but this guy is just not to my liking. His voice he used for the introduction to the story was bad enough but he gave one aristocrat a strange country peasant accent. The story itself was ok but I had a hard time believing it was Regentcy England. Guess I’ve read too many history books on the period.
- How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
- Definitely change the narrator!
- How did the narrator detract from the book?
- YES
- What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
- Disappointment
