Quite possibly one of the worst books I’ve listened to in a while. None of the characters have any likable qualities, there was no substance to the story, and the entire narrative felt super forced. I decided to try this book because of the dungeon premise, thinking I might be able to pick up some cool ideas for making dungeons for my dnd game. But even that part of the story sucked. The forced romance between the two main characters felt like a crappy fanfick and with that alone gone would have made a much better story. The use of video game language was god awfull. Noob as a slur? Idk I find that in video game based books it’s usually way more natural. The only reason I finished this book is because I finish every book I pay for. Don’t waist your money, not worth a dime.
