Honestly not bad.
It had a compelling main character and a subplot I didn’t see a mile off.
The voice acting could’ve been better and the stats listings we’re a little repetitive. It however wasn’t a slog to get through.
Despite the minor flaws I will be reading the second book to see the conclusion of this story. I can only expect better things to come now the ground work has been laid.
