I am a big fan of Abrahams Dystopian novels (except the John Beck series), but the Prepper series seems off. Maybe the series was rushed. To make matters worse he has succumbed to political correctness by now calling a master bedroom the primary bedroom. Good grief Tom. We do Not want that crap in our entertainment too. Book four of the Prepper series broke the camels back for me. Somehow Jacks wife with a car full of children took out an entire military roadblock by smashing into the building with the VW Microbus. Good grief number two. Not to mention, before they left their Houston suburb their pickup was rendered useless due to a shredded tire and a leaking radiator hose while rescuing Jasper. Seriously? Jack didn’t have a spare tire and an extra hose? This may be in book three, but it is good grief number three. I will not invest anymore time in this awful series. Maybe Tom could resurrect the Marcus Battle series! Now that was a series! I miss Battle and Lou! Try reading some Franklin Horton! That guy is pretty good in this genre.
