This book is written well enough. The narrator is very good with voices and accents. But it’s just not my cup of tea. It’s a quazi-Japanese fantasy world with lots of terms not well defined. Lots of magic and spells. A seemingly indestructible teenage anti-hero. I almost stopped listening several times but trudged through only to find a cliff-hanger ending. I didn’t purchase the next book.
