I really like this series, but honestly wasn’t too happy with the setting of this book. I don’t know what it is, exactly, as I really like the characters, but I think its was the shift from sci fi fantasy to basically straight fantasy, complete with castles and knights and evil kings. I still enjoyed it, but i’ve always had a hard time getting in to straight fantasy.
