This author is my favorite and I was excited to listen to new content. However, it saddens me to say that this is not her best work. The storyline is okay, but the format in which it is presented is just bad. The voice acting is poor and reminds me of a high school drama production, and the sound effects come across as cheesy. After an hour I threw in the towel and could not listen anymore. It was like Audible took a book and tried to turn it into a podcast, which was not executed successfully.
