Overall this was a good book, but not 3 books. It was short stories that was pawned off as a set. It felt choppy and not thought out when ending one and beginning another.
This focuses on two characters Kat and Tony, a loving and well-defined couple that struggle at times to make their way in a new world. The author spent much of his time focusing on these two. The co-stars were not memorable and the story could have been so much more, it felt like the author was against a deadline trying to get finished.
The performance was great, I liked the dual reads and both Kevin and Becket (who I really enjoy in this genre) did a great job of bringing these two to life.
