Not quite what I was expecting..

So the first couple of reviews seemed really positive and the overall rating was good. I was looking for a series to hold my attention in this genre.

I will mention now, I got a little in and thought the religious tones to the book were too much and I was going to return it but I love the narrator and stuck with it a little longer and a little longer until I had listened to the whole book. Which actually turned out to be a good series even with the heavy religious tones. Completely different in some aspects of how other dystopian books present but a really good story.
