As the headline says, not too much really happens in this book (i.e., it’s a pretty mild disaster scenario) but it was definitely an interesting listen. I feel like the pace and character building in this book worked out really well and it was a light and easy listen. I was actually surprised when I reached the end because it was over so quickly. My largest complaint is the last chapter; I didn’t really like how it was handled and felt like it ended quite abruptly in an unsatisfying manner. Clearly it is setting up book 2 but it didn’t sit well with me.
As usual, I have yet to be disappointed with another excellent narration by Kevin Pierce!
