I like shifter books and read or listen to them often, but this series just did not resonate with me at all. The male shifters were alpha and that’s okay, but they still had their heads in their a*$ when it came to how they treated their mates. It seemed each story had the same kind of male with the same kind of female. All the female mates seemed to have debilitating injuries and they could not stand up to the other female members. Okay, I can deal with that, but each one of them had no backbone. I just didn’t find these males sexy or worthy of winning any of these females.
