I really did want to like this book. I have most, if not all, of his other titles. I just couldn’t get into this book. I had to keep restarting it because I found myself disinterested and not listening to large portions of the book. I had to force myself to pay attention through several of the chapters. Although sometimes funny, the jokes were stale by the 5th chapter. The delivery was very dry in most cases, further driving the humor into the ground. I am not a “gamer” but understood all the references. Bottom line, the story existed around the jokes. The plot was weak and the characters lacked. The potty humor and penis puns were back to back, went from immature humor to exhausting.
