These truly are ruthless people. They are horrible, awful people with no real redeeming personal values. The book is well written and I thought since it was supposed to be in Chicago and I just got back from 3 days there, I’d be able to picture it better, but there aren’t really any descriptions of the city. Instead, it’s all about the carnage these people wreak. And sex. But they seem to get off more on hurting people. And it’s not just people that “deserve” it. I listened to another book by this author that was good. I think I’ll abandon this series and look for some characters that aren’t sociopaths.
