Overall, my impression of the book was rather disappointing. The character of Arcadia did not resonate well with me, coming across as unappealing. Her interactions with Jason felt immature and irksome, detracting from the narrative’s appeal. The initial eight hours of the story are weighed down by dialogue that often feels aimless, with Arcadia’s persistent refusal to provide clarity on any subject. However, as the story progresses and begins to offer a glimpse into the unfolding events, further insights into Arcadia’s character only serve to amplify the initial dismay, and finishing the book became a chore.
