Not much of a story.

Esper has some adventures, doesn’t learn much and while almost Superman, is hung up about her sexuality, her past, her lack of real friends.

She is a fun character, but it no longer makes sense that she has little or no growth since he is mentally really old. I was very much looking forward to this book…was not pleased. She is hitting up against her own limits, and instead of growing she is being stupid? Spiraling? While thinking she is doing good. I really did not totally get the theme here.
