Not like Stranger Things at all.

I am honestly shocked I finished this book. It was seriously hurt by the Stranger Things comparison. It was nothing like that. It was a lot of talking and a lot of research and a lot blah. Very little action, zero horror or fear factor. And next to no paranormal/psychic aspect.

Overall, the story wasn’t awful, but my expectations were so high, it was hard for the book to get near it. The mystery was…ok. I did want to see how it all played out, but it wasn’t that hard to figure out. The characters were likable enough. There was a lot that was hard to believe/swallow, so be prepared to just listen, not really think.

I will say, I loved the narrators. Definitely checking out the male narrator now.
