For a Jeremy Robinson novel, this was not one of his better works. I am by no means any sort of critic, and he’ll, I couldn’t write a book with a gun to my head. But I was not entertained. I think a lot had to do with the voice of Jeffery Kafer though. Listening to him was cringeworthy. Heather’s voice however was so pleasant to listen to. Even when she spoke on behalf of a male character.
As far as the story goes, I thought the idea was cool and a unique story of an apocalyptic world, but I was not at all captivated. I felt no real connection to any of the characters. Take my advice people,or dont, if this is your 1st read by Jeremy, do judge him until you listen to or read others by him like The Last Hunter series, or Island 731. The Last Hunter was AMAZING. Anyway, this is just my opinion, which I know are like ass#@les EVERYONE has them and the all stink…
