It’s so disappointing when the author decides to write a nice, interesting female character and then turns her into a victim who thinks its completely reasonable for a male to tell her what to think, tell her how she will act and behave, tell her where she will live (isolating her from friends and family), who she will talk to and what type of sex she will have, oh and tell her she will turn into a dragon (or die), but that’s fine because he wants it.
Geez at what point does love equal – I will never consider what you want/think instead I will make you do what I want. Consent goes out the window in favour for coercive control of the innocent virgin. For goodness sake she had literally never had a conversation with him before he coerced her into sex, and sealed her fate.
I really enjoyed the narrator.
I usually like this author but…….. not this time.
