There are some points in the book that are pretty exciting to listen to, but I found that the author really drones on-and-on and seems to find several different ways to describe the same scenario repeatedly before moving on, so much so, that I found myself skipping ahead just to keep the actual story moving. I also found the introduction to a new character to be very awkward and forced, as if the author was called phobic and he is trying miserably hard to prove that he isn’t. I’ll move on to book three, but this book had me wanting to just hurry and push through to get it over with.
