I’m a huge fan of Jeff Hays and regularly download books based on the fact that he is the narrator. Unfortunately, I returned this one halfway through.

I didn’t care for the story. The religious subject matter and proselytizing seemed to detract from the enjoyment, and yet that was the entire theme of the book.

And, I’m not really sure why, but Hays narrated the whole thing using a voice like Billy Dee Williams.

I don’t regularly return titles. This was only the second time out of the last 200 Audible books I’ve purchased, but I just couldn’t get into it.
