I got this collection because I enjoyed the fun of the previous series, This series is not fun, the main character is so powerful it wouldn’t surprise me if she took on entire worlds. Mary Sue, I mean Esper is a lesbian that every woman in the stories falls in love with. But actually, if the author didn’t keep telling you she was a woman, you’d think she was a man.
She has no problem completely rewriting a character’s life, making herself the star of every scene of the poor woman’s life.
Mikael Naramore’s performance is lacking, he apparently has a limited range of voices as he uses the same voices from the previous series for different characters in this one. Also, he repeatedly doesn’t change voices when the story has another character talking. More the fault of the audio team than the performer but it is happening more and more in Audible Releases.
