The previous novel in the series is far more believable, and this one is nearly silly with how bizarre the situations are. There’s too long in a SAW type of scenario with a really boring escape room. This sociopath dude put a whole lot of time/energy into a puzzle for people he just met. Not buying the premise, not buying the decisions made by the established characters from the first novel, not into it at all. I’m not bothering with the next one.
