There is, generally speaking, a law of diminishing returns when it comes to litrpg sequels. But exceptions make rules, and wouldn’t you know it this book manages to do the impossible and improve upon its predecessors.
What makes it good: With the groundwork laid in Book 1 EvP moves the story forward while adding new elements that keep it entertaining and interesting.
