Starts off like a cool rant and romp, but ends being pretty tiring…
Not so good:
– too convenient assembly of then underdeveloped characters
– descriptive of most amazing item/find in story way too sketchy. If you introduce a surprise alien Mech, try to convey some amazement and surprise and wonder
– voice of narrator gets grating at end of book
– extra chapter at end doesn’t really make me want to go for further books
– too easy to predict – one third of the book don’t need to be read to be known
