So, I enjoy the world and the story (mostly) but I found that I didn’t really overly like the combat. The number of times that the solution to unbalanced combat was a suicide bomber attack seemed….. not interesting. I think the nature of the abilities the main group uses forced the author to adapt all of the monsters and enemies moving forward to balance it out. I also just didn’t find the combat to be all that interesting to me.
The world itself was interesting. I liked how the author played with time and expedited grinding. I am not sure if I would read another. I probably would but only just barely.
