It’s alright. As usual, the Soundbooth Theater production, with a variety of voice actors plus music and sound effects, is terrific.
The plot wasn’t bad, mind you. It was nice that the god-killing protagonist was faced with situations that challenged it. And there were some plot points advanced from book to book.
But on the whole, it wasn’t nearly as engrossing as the early books. I was wondering how much longer I should keep following the series, so I appreciated the note at the end of the book that “we’re nearing the end.” Hopefully there aren’t many books left in the series.
