Not a bad story overall. If you don’t mind the biblical and Christian references it’s an enjoyable book. I know some people don’t like that kind of thing. There is a lot of unnecessary dialogue lot that doesn’t do anything to advance the story or help develop the characters. the author occasionally chooses strange times for some of this banter. For example they might be in the middle of a firefight and start a silly conversation about coffee. Or the narrator might go on for several sentences about what hand somebody is holding an object in and what side of the road they’re standing on when it does absolutely nothing for the story and makes no difference whatsoever to anything going on. I found that to be slightly annoying but other than that is a descent book.
