This is the first of the series I had listened too. All of them are supposed to be stand-alone stories and it definitely sounded like that would work out in this storyline. I enjoyed this book but didnt have the desperate need to listen every second like I would have liked. I don’t know that there is something in particular that didn’t stir that feeling for me, it just was. I’d say a solid 3 stars. The idea of the story is interesting, kind of reminded me of the books I read as a kid where you would pick different endings and flip back and forth through the book. I dont know that I would get another book in the series, but it is definitely worth trying at least one of the books.
