It’s not exhaustive. Maybe it is and I can’t tell. The book is not completely chronological, jumping forward and backward in time- which happens several times. The problem with this is that small anecdotes are expounded upon here or there that cross other anecdotes from the same eras, making for lots of perceived repetition. Maybe this history goes too far back to be able to have more than 30 hours of bio without any repetition. Some of the stories are repeated for making a point- but the point is lost at the moment that I realize I’ve heard these same words already. There are other good Vincent books, I’m sure- but I wanted the biggest, because of the amount of time that I listen. Maybe I’ll get abridged versions in the future?
