I’ve read a ton of mixed reviews as went along listening to this novel. At first, I agreed with those pointing fingers that this book is pro pedophilia. Then as I went along, it showed me more and more what a true connection these two characters had. I know it’s hard to see past, but just remember… this isn’t real. It’s ok to be disgusted but it’s also ok to love the story in it’s whole form. Literature doesn’t always line up with our beliefs or values.
Truly an interesting listen.
