This is a good story and the Narrators do a good, but not great, job. My main 2 complaints are that even though the students know this is a major issue they just keep hanging out. I know people who will hide their heads in the sand no matter what, but at least 3 of the main characters have been preparing, and still they just wait around until there is no other choice. No one who prepares does that. They act on their preparedness. My second complaint is that because the author has so many chapters of the main characters just watching everything happen that she fills her book with, well, filler. I assume she does this so she can get another book or so, rather than have a finished product that can have subsequent novels following the first. I understand the want to create a series, but each book should be able to stand on it’s own, not require a second or third book just to see what should have been covered in the first book.
Like I said good writing but left my not really satisfied.
