I loved the fact that while this book was consistent with the first and you got to know the same characters from slightly different angles, there was zero need to have read the first book. That is so rare and refreshing!

I had some trouble getting into this book. Perhaps because I’ve never been to LA and live in a part of the world that is blessed to not have wild fires. (Who ever thought I’d have to be glad it rains sooooo much??)

Actually liked this one better than the first. Tighter time frame on the action helped.

I received this book for free in exchange for a review.
