I really wanted to enjoy “NPC” because it’s science fiction, but it’s somewhere between Blade Runner, Matrix, and Lawnmower Man. They are all excellent movies. It felt like the author just copied and pasted from these films and wrote this one.
As I become elderly, I’m finding myself having no tolerance for nonsense action. Give me some space opera any day and I will give it at least two stars for effort. There was no effort for “NPC.”
